1. Description of the service
Kr8 Studio is a desktop application for creating lyric visualizers, previewing music compositions, rendering finished music videos, and preparing non-destructive Reel exports. The public website provides product and legal information.
Social publishing integrations are currently in development or provider review. Kr8 Studio does not claim that direct publishing is available until an integration is released and shown inside the application.
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be legally able to accept these Terms and use Kr8 Studio in compliance with applicable law. If you use the software on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
You may not use Kr8 Studio to violate law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, bypass service restrictions, gain unauthorized access, or interfere with third-party systems.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You remain responsible for the projects, music, lyrics, images, videos, fonts, metadata, and other materials you select, edit, render, or publish. You control whether and where a completed export is shared.
You are responsible for reviewing a video before export or publication, verifying lyrics and metadata, protecting project files, maintaining backups, and complying with platform rules that apply to your content.
4. Rights to music, images, and video
You must own the necessary rights or have valid permission to use every asset processed through Kr8 Studio. This includes copyright, performer rights, publicity rights, trademarks, font licenses, and any other rights required for editing, rendering, and distribution.
Kr8 Studio does not obtain ownership of your content merely because you process it with the application.
5. Third-party services and APIs
Kr8 Studio may in the future connect to third-party services at the user's request. Those services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, technical limits, and review processes. Their availability or behavior is not controlled by Kr8 Studio.
A future provider connection will require the user to authorize access and explicitly confirm publishing actions. You remain responsible for complying with the connected provider's rules.
6. Software availability and changes
Kr8 Studio is under active development. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed to improve reliability, security, compatibility, or compliance. Availability may be interrupted for maintenance, technical failures, provider changes, or circumstances outside the operator's control.
7. No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, Kr8 Studio and the website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility with every file or device, or preservation of every project or export.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, lost data, failed uploads, provider actions, or loss of business arising from use of Kr8 Studio.
Liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited remains subject to applicable law.
9. Suspension or termination
Access to hosted features or future provider connections may be suspended or terminated when necessary to protect security, comply with law or provider requirements, address misuse, or discontinue a service. You may stop using Kr8 Studio and remove local application data at any time.
10. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the software and its integrations evolve. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Where required, material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections or jurisdiction rights that apply in the user's country of residence.
